PAGSIP consists of 4 subcommittees, who each work on different initiatives and projects to enhance our program. Read below to learn about what they have been working on this year.

Prosocial Committee

Current Members: Sharon Li (head), Jerod White

Initiatives:

Created Purdue I-O Psychology Program & Resources Website
Launched the Purdue I-O Psychology Undergraduate Mentorship Program (2020)

Public Relations Committee

Current Members: Rick Yang (cohead), Meaghan Tracy (cohead), Christine Cairoli

Initiatives:

Updated PAGSIP social media account to celebrate our students and faculty (twitter handle: @pagsip)
Conducted interviews with our wonderful alumni (e.g., Dr. Robert Morrison)
Designed annual newsletter of PAGSIP to highlight program updates and achievements

Social Events Committee

Current Members: Bradley Pitcher (head), Fanyi Zhang, Dante Bruno

Initiatives:

Organized mini birthday celebrations (treats and singing happy birthday during journal club / colloquium)
Hosted social activities such as Friday Coffee + Study sessions (2x), I/O Friday Happy hour (one last semester, one this Friday), Exploration Acres Corn Maze outing

Student Development Committee

Current Members: Daphne Hou (head), Mia Kendrick

Initiatives:

Coordinated snacks for journal club
Organized the Purdue IO Repository box folder, which includes a catalogue of all the content in the folder
